Description:
A monitor is a simple output device that displays information on a screen. This NEC Multisync LCD communicates with the video card to adjust screen settings to make use of the Xtraview technology that allows flexible viewing. These monitors work by forming electrodes on glass substrates that become joined together, while sealing a liquid crystal in the gap between them. Fluorescrent lights are used to produce the light source. Pixels on the screen are transistors and acts as a switch. When the switch is on, molecules align themselves so that the light from the source shines through them, passing the RGB filter, to produce high quality colors on screen.

Why We Chose It:

This monitor was chosen because it offers a lot of features that make it outstanding. It is an LCD Active-Matrix display type with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024, which means that we will be able to view very crisp images. It makes use of a high resolution and definition, and is a flat screen, which takes up little of our valuable space on our desk. It makes use of Xtraview wide angle technology, which means that it can be viewed at wide angles without losing quality. It also offers a superior quality internal power supply.
