A keyboard is a series of switches connected to the CPU that keeps track of all switches and provides a response for each change. Pressing a key on the keyboard allows a current to flow through its circuits. This information is held on a grid, with X and Y coordinates, which gets checked using a character map to see which character is to be displayed.
Why We Chose It:
We chose this particular keyboard because it is cordless. This is a great benefit of the keyboard, for it allows us to sit comfortably without the restrictions of the length of the keyboard cord. As well, it is a comfortable keyboard, as its keys are very soft and it has a palm rest. Its last feature that caught our eye was its internet/multimedia controls that are built into the keyboard, which is an added time saver!
